Primary research at a new site mediated through analogue projection as part of my early MA Fine Art Site and Archive investigations at UCLan in Preston, using mapping and intervention strategies. Experimental work in progress at my NAS in Bolton, invaluable space for exploring ongoing concerns with those 'slippery' places that are in a liminal state of transition.

I am pleased to have been invited to give my talk again, the space between, about the art work I created shortly before the demolition of Delph Hill Methodist Church in Bolton. The internal space is interpreted through printmaking, photography and found objects. Long memories of the place are shared in film and audio recordings. I would be thrilled to see you there.

My residency in one of Castlefield Gallery's New Art Spaces (NAS) in Churchgate House, Churchgate Bolton enables me to experiment with a series of site responsive images made during a recent visit to the British forces base in Sennelager, Germany, using print processes and projection. The pastoral setting evident and enhanced by the familiar Polaroid palette belies the military purpose of the barely concealed buildings. My studio will be open for you to visit and have a look at how my work is developing. Castlefield Gallery’s New Art Spaces (NAS) is an initiative to create dynamic project spaces for artists, artist collectives and artist development agencies. Making use of temporary vacant retail, office and light industrial units, NAS provides opportunities for emerging creatives to incubate their practices, produce work and showcase new art to local communities. Currently CG runs New Art Spaces in Bolton, Chorlton, Leigh and Salford. Until Wednesday 7 September 2016 Tuesday-Saturdays 10am - 4.30 pm Pleased to have been commended for my work, the space reserved #1 at the West Lancs Open Exhibition 2016 in Ormskirk. As always, great diversity of themes and media, well worth a visit, the exhibition continues until 7 September, Tuesday-Saturdays 10am-4.30pm. More details here: www.chapelgallery.org.uk
