The Space Reserved, 2015
Traces of Polaroid origin are transferred through the intaglio print process to reflect and disturb their outcomes, evocative of the sites of heterotopia that were their source and the personal experience of encountering them.  Isolated places of containment are recalled in a series of solar plate etchings; and the juxtaposition of institutional buildings set within the pastoral idyll of the cultivated landscape is re-imagined through analogue projection.

Solar plate etchings, 35mm slide projections; Polaroid emulsion transfer on photographic plates. Polaroid photographs
